Constructed of silvered tombak with enamels, the obverse consisting of a Silesian style German national eagle executed in black enamels with feathering and details highlighted in silver, clutching a silvered banner in its talons bearing a raised inscription of FR SCHLESIEN (FOR SILESIA), overlaid across its chest by a silvered Brustmond, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse fixtures in position,
